Lily: Hi, Rangers! I'm Lily. This is Rangers Radio... the story you can hear, even with no screen.
[SFX: steps]
Lily: Ricky, Sami and I are at the water tank. Ricky is holding a cup of water. It looks clear... and shiny.
Lily: Wait! Do NOT drink that water!
Ricky: It looks clean!
Lily: But it can still have germs. Tiny ones. Too small to see.
Lily: Sami holds up a picture card: a cup, a cloth, a pot with bubbles. Pictures work in any language.
[SFX: flip]
Lily: Here's how Rangers make water safe. Step one.
[SFX: pour]
Ricky: If the water is cloudy, let it settle. Then pour it through a clean cloth. Cloth tight, no holes.
Lily: Step two. A grown-up lights the fire and puts the pot on.
[SFX: fire]
Ricky: A grown-up handles the fire. Step back with me, Lily. Hot pots burn.
[SFX: boil]
Lily: Step three. Watch for big bubbles, rolling all over the top. Then count one full minute.
Sami: ¡Un minuto completo!
Lily: One full minute!
[SFX: tick]
Lily: Sami keeps the time on her fingers.
[SFX: clink]
Lily: Step four. Let it cool. Pour it into a clean bottle, and put the lid on.
[SFX: cap]
Ricky: Lid on. Germs out.
Lily: Let's say it again, Rangers. Slowly.
Lily: One... cloudy water? Let it settle, then pour it through a clean cloth.
Lily: Two... a grown-up boils it. Kids step back. Hot pots burn.
Lily: Three... big bubbles, one full minute.
Lily: Four... cool it, clean bottle, lid on.
Lily: Bubbles big, count to one... one full minute, germs are done!
Lily: Bubbles big, count to one... one full minute, germs are done!
[SFX: claps]
Lily: Dirty water?
Lily: Don't you drink!
Lily: Boil it first!
Lily: Stop and think!
Lily: Big bubbles, one whole minute!
Lily: Cool it, cover it, then drink it!
Lily: Blue heart Rangers, safe and strong!
Lily: Boil it first, all day long!
[SFX: claps]
Lily: Safe water keeps us strong.
Lily: Boil it first!
