For Grown-Ups

Lily: "Grown-ups help, Rangers learn, together we're strong!"

Thank you for walking with a Ranger. This handbook teaches simple, life-saving habits through play. You are the safety net.

Your jobs

Safety lines in this book (please keep them)

  1. Danger Awareness gives a behaviour rule only (stop, don't touch, go back, tell). It shows no real devices and teaches no identification, and the hunt game uses pictures in a checked camp area.
  2. Health content is "notice and tell", never home treatment, apart from cool water for burns and washing small cuts.
  3. Fix It uses camp-safe, adult-checked materials only, never rubble or unknown metal.
  4. Platinum steps always need a grown-up, and for mine-risk only a trained educator.

How to run a Ranger session (about 20 minutes)

  1. Watch the episode (or listen to Rangers Radio).
  2. Look at the Field Card together.
  3. Practise one checklist line with props.
  4. Lily's slogan, all together.
  5. Colour one blue-heart segment if a level was earned.
